Bulls vs. Suns Pick
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Suns are a 3-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 217 points.
Chicago comes in with a 3-10 overall record and 7-6 ATS after a 123-120 home win over the Hornets. Phoenix is 6-11 overall and 7-10 ATS following a 122-113 victory at the Lakers. The two meetings last season were split 1-1 straight up and ATS, while the over-under also went 1-1.
The Bulls were led by Justin Holiday with 27 points and three steals in the win against Charlotte. Kris Dunn accounted for 22 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals off the bench. Denzel Valentine added 18 points, six assists and five rebounds. Chicago outscored the Hornets 40-28 in the fourth quarter.
In the win at Los Angeles, Devin Booker led the way with 33 points along with four assists and three rebounds. Alex Len had 17 points and 18 rebounds off the bench. Tyler Ulis added 15 points and seven assists. Phoenix led 65-53 at halftime.
Chicago is 7-1 ATS in its last eight meetings in Phoenix. The Suns are 0-5 ATS in their last five games playing on one day of rest.
Both teams are coming off a win, which doesn't exactly happen all that often. It's difficult to trust either team in this matchup, but the Bulls have some young and athletic talent that should match up well. With Valentine inserted into the starting lineup, Chicago's rotations were as good as it has been all season versus Charlotte. We like the Bulls to cover the spread and perhaps win outright tonight.
