Warriors fall at Mavs
Golden State lost for the third time in four games Saturday night at Dallas by a count of 112-109. The Warriors (12-5) were outscored 30-23 in the fourth quarter. Kevin Durant paced Golden State with 32 points on 11-of-24 shooting with four rebounds and three assists. Klay Thompson contributed 22 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals. Quinn Cook tallied 15 points, three assists and two boards off the bench. Damion Lee accounted for 13 points, four rebounds and two steals as a reserve. Shaun Livingston added 12 points, four caroms and four dimes as a reserve.
Spurs drop third straight
San Antonio fell for a third straight time Thursday night by a count of 116-111 at the Clippers. DeMar DeRozan led the Spurs (7-7) with 34 points on 14-of-30 shooting plus six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Rudy Gay registered 19 points, six rebounds and two assists off the bench. Bryn Forbes had 17 points and two assists. Patty Mills had 12 points, five assists and four boards as a reserve. LaMarcus Aldridge added 10 points, 16 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. San Antonio shot only 41-of-103 (39.0 percent) from the floor and 9-of-29 (31%) from 3-point range.
