Clippers vs. Hornets Pick

Clippers vs. Hornets NBA Predictions 11/17/17

Are the host Charlotte Hornets going to send the Los Angeles Clippers to an eighth straight loss tonight at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Hornets are a 3.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 211 points.

The Clippers enter with a 5-9 overall record and 6-8 ATS after a 118-113 overtime loss at the Cavaliers. Charlotte is 5-9 and 5-8-1 ATS following a 123-120 loss at the Bulls. Los Angeles went 2-0 straight up and 1-1 ATS in two meetings last season. The over-under went 1-1.

In the loss at Cleveland, Blake Griffin led the way with 23 points along with 12 rebounds and five assists. DeAndre Jordan racked up 20 points and 22 rebounds. Austin Rivers added 16 points and six assists. The Clippers were outscored 13-8 in overtime.

Kemba Walker poured in 47 points to go with six rebounds and five assists in the loss to Chicago. Marvin Williams had 13 points and four rebounds. Dwight Howard added 11 points and nine rebounds, while Frank Kaminsky also scored 11. Charlotte was outscored 40-28 in the fourth quarter.

Los Angeles is 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings and 11-3-1 in the last 15 meetings in Charlotte.

Bet on Clippers vs. Hornets

Both teams will be a bit fatigued from playing back-to-back games with travel, with the Clippers having gone an extra five-minute OT session. Los Angeles is in a freefall after starting the season off in nice fashion and it's hard to see the losing skid being snapped in this situation. Walker has been playing great basketball and expect it to continue tonight.

NBA DAILY PREDICTION: CHARLOTTE HORNETS -3.5
