Cavs mired in 0-7 funk against spread
LeBron and the Cavs continue to rack up victories but those wins haven’t produced at the betting window.
Mired in a seven-game losing streak against the spread, Cleveland visits Detroit at 7:30PM ET tonight. In each of those seven failed covers the Cavs were favored, ranging from a 5-point fave to a 13.5-point favorite. In their last game, Cleveland had an eight-game winning streak snapped in a 108-105 loss in Milwaukee as a 5-point favorite.
Despite their failures at the betting window, the Cavs are a 5-point road favorite versus the Pistons tonight according to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag. Detroit is in the midst of its own ATS funk, having failed to cover the number in four-straight games, including in a 97-85 loss to the Lakers as a 4.5-point favorite on Sunday.
This will be the Pistons’ first home game since November 3 when they fell to the Pacers 94-82 as a 4.5-point favorite. Detroit went 2-4 in its six-game road swing and is stuck in a four-game losing streak.
