Jazz rally past Grizzlies

Utah came from behind Tuesday night for a 119-114 home win over Brooklyn to move to 8-3 overall and 6-0 at home. The Jazz outscored the Nets 66-46 in the second half of the victory. Donovan Mitchell paced Utah with 30 points on 13-of-26 shooting plus 4-of-4 at the free throw line. He also registered six rebounds and two assists. Mike Conley Jr. accounted for 18 points, five assists and four boards. Rudy Gobert registered 18 points, 15 caroms, two assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Emmanuel Mudiay contributed 15 points, three rebounds and two assists off the bench. Jeff Green had 13 points and two boards off the bench. Bojan Bogdanovic added 12 points and four rebounds.

Morant wins it with layup

Rookie point guard Ja Morant broke a tie with a layup with 0.7 on the clock Wednesday night as Memphis won 119-117 at Charlotte. The Grizzlies outscored the Hornets 25-21 in the fourth quarter of the win. Morant paced Memphis with 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point distance plus 2-of-3 at the free throw line. He also dished out 11 assists. Jonas Valunciunas contributed 18 points, 13 boards and two assists. Marko Guduric had 17 points and two caroms off the bench. Jaren Jackson Jr. tallied 16 points and six rebounds. Brandon Clarke added 13 points, six boards and two assists off the bench.

NBA Betting Trends

The Jazz are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Utah is 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings.

The Grizzlies are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games versus the Northwest Division. Memphis is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games following an ATS win.

Memphis is coming off a big win and while its opponent tonight is much better, the Jazz have struggled on the road thus far. I also think the Grizzlies match up decently at a couple key positions including center where Valunciunas can at least muscle up with Gobert in the interior. Conley Jr. might press a little much in his return home and Morant is gaining more confidence with each game. Take the points with the Grizzlies tonight.
