Lou Williams paced LA with 21 points off the bench on 7-of-15 shooting including 2-of-6 from 3-point distance plus 5-of-6 at the free throw line. He also notched four rebounds and four assists. The Rockets led 30-23 after one quarter of play and managed to hold off the Pelicans the rest of the way. James Harden led Houston with 39 points on 13-of-25 shooting including 3-of-11 from 3-point distance plus 10-of-14 at the charity stripe. He also recorded nine assists, four rebounds and two steals. Russell Westbrook accounted for 26 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Eric Gordon registered 17 points and three boards off the bench. NBA Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Clippers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. Los Angeles is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games versus the Western Conference.

Houston

The Rockets are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games versus the Pacific Division. Houston is 1-4 ATS in its last five home games.

Prediction:

A lot of money is coming in on LA due to the return of George, but this is a tough road matchup in an early start time to fit in for national television. The Clippers will be extremely good with George, but the chemistry still has to develop. There is plenty of star power on the Rockets with Harden and Westbrook too, so with the benefit of much more court time together I'm going to side with that duo tonight.
