Raptors vs. Clippers Prediction
The Toronto Raptors earned a straight up win as double-digit underdogs last night. Can Toronto keep it close enough to at least cover another spread as a big underdog again tonight in the second end of a back-to-back at the Los Angeles Clippers?

Raptors upset Lakers
Toronto was without a couple key players but still managed to end Los Angeles’ seven-game winning streak Sunday night on the road with a 113-104 triumph. The Raptors (7-2, 3-2 away) outscored the Lakers 35-26 in the fourth quarter to put it away. Pascal Siakam led Toronto with 24 points on 9-of-25 shooting including 1-of-8 from 3-point range plus 5-of-8 at the free throw line. He also racked up 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots. Fred VanVleet contributed 23 points, 10 assists, seven boards and two steals. Chris Boucher had 15 points, three blocks, two rebounds and two steals off the bench. Norman Powell tallied 14 points, five boards, two assists and two blocks. Terence Davis registered 13 points, five rebounds and three assists as a reserve. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 10 points, three boards and two assists off the bench.
Clippers down Blazers
Los Angeles head coach Doc Rivers earned his 900th career victory Thursday night as the Clippers won 107-101 at home over Portland. Los Angeles (6-3, 5-1 home) outscored the Trail Blazers 37-25 over the final 12 minutes to rally back. Kawhi Leonard paced LA with 27 points on 9-of-23 shooting plus 9-of-10 at the charity stripe. He also recorded 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots. Lou Williams had 26 points, eight assists, three boards and three blocks off the bench. NBA Betting Trends
Toronto
The Raptors are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games versus the Pacific Division. Toronto is 7-2 ATS in its last nine road games.
Los Angeles
The Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Los Angeles is 4-1 ATS in its last five Monday games.
Prediction:
Los Angeles has had more rest coming into this game, but even with Toronto missing Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka I think this spread is a little too wide. The Raptors just took down the Lakers and players like Siakam and VanVleet are fully capable of large roles. Paul George is close to returning for the Clippers, but it doesn’t sound like it will be for this game. I’m riding the Toronto train again tonight.
