Bucks fall at buzzer
Milwaukee lost 103-100 Friday night at Utah as a tie was broken by the hosts with a corner 3-pointer as time expired. The Bucks fell to 6-3 overall and 4-2 on the road with the defeat. Giannis Antetokounmpo paced Milwaukee with 30 points on 10-of-22 shooting including 2-of-6 from 3-point distance plus 8-of-13 at the free throw line. He also accounted for 13 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Khris Middleton had 26 points and 11 boards. Eric Bledsoe added 22 points, eight caroms and five dimes.
Thunder down Warriors
Oklahoma City secured a 114-108 home victory Saturday night over Golden State to improve to 4-5 overall and 4-2 at home. The Thunder was outscored 41-24 in the third quarter, but rebounded by outscoring the Warriors 30-24 in the fourth quarter. Danilo Gallinari led OKC with 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting including 4-of-6 from 3-point range plus 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. He also notched five rebounds and three assists. Chris Paul tallied 16 points, nine assists, five boards and three steals. Dennis Schroder accounted for 16 points, six caroms and six dimes. NBA Betting Trends
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 1-4 ATS in their last five Sunday games. Milwaukee is 20-9 ATS in its last 29 games following an ATS loss.
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are 5-1 ATS in their last six games versus the Eastern Conference. Oklahoma City is 9-23 ATS in its last 32 Sunday games.
Prediction:
The Thunder had enough trouble getting past Golden State last night and now have a back-to-back situation against one of the NBA’s best teams. The Bucks come in a little salty after Friday’s loss and they have shown the ability to blow teams out at home or on the road since the start of last season. I like Milwaukee to win decisively here and cover this spread.
