The Lakers outscored the Mavs 27-18 in the fourth quarter to force overtime and then rolled by a count of 16-7 in the extra session. LeBron James led LA with 39 points on 13-of-23 shooting including 4-of-9 from 3-point distance plus 9-of-11 at the free throw line. He also racked up 16 assists, 12 rebounds and four steals. The Spurs outscored the Warriors 70-55 in the second half of the win. Patty Mills paced San Antonio with 31 points off the bench on 10-of-16 shooting including 6-of-9 from 3-point range plus 5-of-5 at the charity stripe. He also tallied three rebounds and two assists. NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Lakers are 4-0 ATS in their last four Sunday games. Los Angeles is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games versus the Western Conference.
San Antonio
The Spurs are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games. San Antonio is 2-9 ATS in its last 11 home games.
Prediction:
The Lakers might be in a letdown spot and also the more fatigued team here after they rallied in OT past Dallas two nights ago. James is older now and that game expended a lot of energy to carry his squad. The Spurs are always solid in every area and typically strong at home even though they haven’t covered a lot of spreads lately. I’m going with the hosts to stay unbeaten at home with a victory here.
