Bucks dominate Raptors without Antetokounmpo

With star Giannis Antetokounmpo in the concussion protocol, Milwaukee stayed unbeaten and sent also undermanned Toronto to its first loss Monday night by a count of 124-109. Antetokounmpo has since been cleared and expected to play tonight at Boston. The Bucks outscored Toronto a combined 65-51 in the second and third quarters to secure the win. Ersan Ilyasova led a balanced scoring attack with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to go with 10 rebounds and two assists. Eric Bledsoe tallied 17 points, eight assists and two rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon contributed 17 points, five boards and three assists. Khris Middleton had 14 points, eight assists, four rebounds and two steals. Thon Maker had 11 points, seven boards and two assists off the bench. Donte DiVincenzo registered 12 points, eight rebounds and two assists off the bench. Tony Snell added 11 points and two rebounds off the bench.

Celtics hold off Pistons

Boston improved to 5-2 on the season with a 108-105 home win over Detroit Tuesday night. Kyrie Irving led the way with a season-high 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting plus five rebounds and five assists. Jayson Tatum had 16 points, six boards and three dimes. Jaylen Brown contributed 14 points, five rebounds and three assists. Marcus Morris tallied 15 points, nine rebounds and two assists off the bench. Al Horford added 11 points, five rebounds and four assists. The Celtics were outscored 34-27 in the fourth quarter but had built up a big enough lead through three quarters to hold on.

NBA Betting Trends

The Bucks are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Milwaukee is 0-5 ATS in its last five meetings in Boston.

The under is 6-0 in the last six Celtics games following an ATS loss. Boston is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.

This is a playoffs rematch from last season and with Giannis back in the fold, the Bucks are at full strength and looking for the small upset. I'm going to take a shot at Milwaukee here. While the Bucks are due for a loss and on the road, there is something to be said for a team playing with a healthy amount of confidence. After tearing up a Raptors team missing Kawhi Leonard, look for Milwaukee to make an even bigger statement tonight.
