Lakers vs. Timberwolves Prediction
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves are both 2-4 on the season and each team has their own issues to overcome if they wish to enjoy more success this season. Is Minnesota the right team to bet on tonight on their home floor as a small dog?

Lakers' modest two-game win streak snapped
Los Angeles dropped to 2-4 on the season Saturday night with a 110-106 loss at the Spurs. The Lakers were outscored 23-18 in the fourth quarter. LeBron James recorded 35 points on 13-of-21 shooting with 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals in the defeat. Kyle Kuzma contributed 15 points and four rebounds. Lance Stephenson had 14 points, nine boards and two assists off the bench. Rajon Rondo added 12 points, five assists and four boards as a reserve.
T-Wolves fall by 30 at home
Minnesota trailed 63-38 at halftime Friday night in a 125-95 home loss to the Bucks. Karl-Anthony Towns had 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting plus seven boards and two blocked shots in the defeat. Derrick Rose had 14 points, three boards, two assists and two steals off the bench. Tyus Jones contributed 12 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals as a reserve. NBA Betting Trends
The Lakers are 0-4 ATS in their last four Monday games. Los Angeles is 14-6 ATS in its last 20 meetings in Minnesota.
The under is 6-1 in the last seven Timberwolves games playing on two days of rest. The over is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings.
The total is sky-high here, but I'm not going to put it past these two teams to reach it. Minnesota's players continue to say they aren't panicking despite 30-point home losses and the Jimmy Butler distraction. But he was playing through an illness against Milwaukee, so there is at least a possible excuse for his poor four-point performance. As for the Lakers, LeBron's teams continue to be bet on heavily and in spots like this I'm going to take advantage of it with a Minnesota bet. Los Angeles is still finding its way, struggling defensively and with hitting 3-pointers. Look for the T-Wolves to find a way to carve out a win here.
