Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
DeAndre Ayton tallied 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting (1-of-3 3-pointers) with six rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two turnovers in 33 minutes as the Suns fell to the Nuggets on Wednesday. Ayton had his hands full on Wednesday dealing with reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic. Jokic scored from all over the court on Wednesday getting a little revenge on Ayton after the Suns swept the Nuggets in the second round of last year’s playoffs. Ayton also failed to tally a block and only grabbed six rebounds in 33 minutes, which is also low for Ayton. We will see if he can rebound against a deep Lakers frontcourt on Friday.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Notes
LeBron James said he’s not a fan of load management and that he’s at his best when he’s playing heavy minutes. “I don’t play the game thinking about injuries,” James said. “And I also feel worse when I play low minutes.” Despite LeBron’s comments, coach Frank Vogel still made it clear that he plans to give LeBron some nights off this season. “Obviously, it’s probably not right to have him play 82 games,” Vogel said. “But we’re not going to pre-script X amount of nights off. We’re going to take it as it comes throughout the year.”
