Wizards edged in season opener
Washington lost its season opener at home Thursday night as the Heat scored the go-ahead bucket on a Kelly Olynyk putback with 0.2 seconds left. John Wall contributed 26 points and nine assists to pace the Wizards, hitting 9-of-16 from the floor. Bradley Beal had 20 points with two assists and a steal. Jeff Green recorded 17 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots off the bench. Markieff Morris added 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and two blocks. The Wizards were outscored 28-23 in the fourth quarter.
