The 2018-19 NBA regular season is right around the corner and this is a good time to check out the latest MVP odds. With LeBron James favored, who has the next-best odds?
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, LeBron has 3/1 odds to win the regular season MVP after joining the Lakers. Anthony Davis of the Pelicans has the next-best odds at 4/1 but Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks is right behind Davis at 5/1. Rockets’ star James Harden also is 5/1 to win the regular season MVP.
Continuing with the odds, Kevin Durant is 8/1, while new Raptor Kawhi Leonard is 10/1. Durant’s teammate Steph Curry is 15/1, followed by Russell Westbrook at 17/1 and Kyrie Irving at 18/1. 76ers’ star Joel Embiid is 20/1 while teammate Ben Simmons is 35/1.
After that, the odds fall off a cliff. Karl-Anthony Towns is 50/1, followed by Damian Lillard and DeMar DeRozan, who are 75/1, respectively. Chris Paul, DeMarcus Cousins, Donovan Mitchell, Jimmy Butler, John Wall, LaMarcus Aldridge, Lonzo Ball, Nikola Jokic, Paul George and Victor Oladipo are all 100/1, respectively.
The players with the longest odds to win the regular season NBA MVP award are Blake Griffin, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Kyle Kuzma and Kyle Lowry at 250/1, respectively.
