Milwaukee Bucks DFS Spin
Giannis Antetokounmpo twisted his right ankle early in Friday’s loss and he will be questionable heading into Sunday’s Game 4, which is a must-win for the Bucks who find themselves in a 3-0 hole to the Heat. According to Brian Mahoney, Giannis didn’t look “particularly comfortable walking on his ankle” on his way to the Bucks’ team room on Saturday afternoon and others have described Giannis as walking with a very noticeable limp. You have to think he’ll be available either way on Sunday, but the Bucks have been struggling mightily against the Heat and it’s hard to imagine them winning four straight games and advancing. And we could be getting set up for one of the most awkward MVP Award presentations ever.
Miami Heat DFS Spin
Jimmy Butler paced the Heat with 30 points (7-of-13 FGs, 14-of-19 FTs) while also tallying seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in Friday’s win over the Bucks. Butler was once again outstanding for Miami, which now holds a 3-0 series lead. After being limited to 13 points in Game 2 he got back on track Friday night, shooting better than 50 percent from the field and tallying only four fewer free throw attempts than the Bucks managed as an entire team. Butler scored 17 points in the fourth, outscoring Milwaukee (13 points) by himself. At this point he is a must-play in all DFS formats, as he’s dominated a series that was headlined by the presumed league MVP (Giannis Antetokounmpo).
Bucks vs. Heat Game 4 NBA Playoffs Prediction
If you’ve been reading my game predictions for this series, you already know that I haven’t liked the matchup for the Bucks. Dating back to the three regular season matchups between these two teams, the Heat’s defense has proved to be too much for the Bucks, who have been controlled in the paint. While all the value has now been sucked out of the line, I still like the Heat laying two because honestly, Miami should have been favored all along. What we need to do here is avoid the “gambler’s mentality,” which is to assume that the Bucks are simply “due.” The only thing they’re due for is making their offseason plans.
