Cavs, Warriors to play Christmas Day
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – NBA fans will be treated to a Finals rematch on Christmas Day, according to ESPN.com’s Marc Stein.
Stein reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors will play on Christmas Day this upcoming NBA season, as LeBron James and company will visit Oakland and the defending champs. This will be the second time in three years and the fourth time in six years that the Warriors have hosted a Christmas Day game.
Last season the Warriors visited the Clippers on Christmas Day and wound up losing by 14 points. Anthony Davis and the Pelicans will also be in the national spotlight on Christmas Day when they face the Miami Heat as part of that day’s NBA schedule.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cavs are 5/2 favorites to win the 2016 NBA Championship while Steph Curry and the defending champs are 13/2.
