Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer said that Giannis is “in a good place” physically after Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Suns. Despite bumping knees and experiencing some cramping in Thursday’s Game 2, according to Budenholzer, there is no need to worry about the health of The Greek Freak. Giannis notably missed two games in the Eastern Conference Finals due to a hyperextended left knee that looked a lot worse than it actually turned out to be. But through two games, Giannis has shown no real ill effects of the injury. The Bucks will need a full-strength Giannis if they hope to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole on Sunday in Milwaukee.
Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Devin Booker led the Suns to a dominant 2-0 Finals lead in Thursday’s Game 2, scoring 31 points to go with five boards, six assists, seven 3-pointers and three turnovers in 44 minutes. He shot just 4-of-12 in the first half but really turned it on in the second, and he continues to show just how well-rounded his game is quickly becoming with some great defense and facilitating throughout. The 24-year-old is a legend in the making, and is just two wins away from bringing Phoenix its first title in the history of the franchise. For what it’s worth, teams that go up 2-0 in a playoff series go on to win the series 91.9% of the time, but as the late great Kobe Bean Bryant would say, the job’s not finished. Chris Paul had an uncharacteristic six turnovers but was fantastic otherwise with 23 points, four rebounds, eight dimes and a steal in 41 minutes. The Bucks will host the Suns for Sunday’s Game 3, which is basically a must-win for Milwaukee.
