Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo (left knee hyperextension) has been listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s Game 1 against the Suns. Antetokounmpo has missed the Bucks last two games, both of which have resulted in wins for Milwaukee. The Bucks have gotten huge contributions from Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and Bobby Portis, who has started both games in Giannis’s absence and likely will again if Giannis can’t go. Antetokounmpo certainly is a huge part of what the Bucks do both offensively and defensively but in his absence, Milwaukee has taken on a ‘win by committee mentality, getting six players scoring in double figures in Saturdays Game 6 win. Should he be out again, they will need a similar effort to combat a deep Phoenix squad that has won 11 of their last 13 games entering Tuesday’s Game 1.
Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Chris Paul revealed on Saturday that he has been dealing with partially torn ligaments in his right hand. When Paul struggled in Games 3, 4 and 5 of the Western Conference Finals, the general consensus was that he was still getting his conditioning up to par after missing the first two games due to COVID-19. Well, the hand injury suffered during Game 3 was likely a factor as well. The tape that was on his fingers during Games 4 and 5 was gone for Game 6, and CP3 torched the Clippers for 31 second-half points to close out the series. “Managed it well, good,” Paul said of the injury. “These days that we’ve had off have been really good. We all get a chance to rest up a little bit before we get it going again.”
