(The Spread) – The odds are out for the 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year and you won’t be surprised by who’s favored.

Oddsmakers have installed the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Anthony Davis, as the favorite to win next year’s NBA Rookie of the Year award. Davis’ odds are 6/5, while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Bobcats) is 7/1 and Bradley Beal (Wizards) is 19/2. Both Harrison Bares (Warriors) and Thomas Robinson (Kings) are also19/2, respectively, to win.

Continuing with the odds, Jonas Valanciunas (Raptors) is 10/1 to win next year’s NBA Rookie of the Year while Dion Waiters (Cavs) is 20/1 and John Henson (Bucks) is 25/1. Kendall Marshall (Suns), Marquis Teague (Bulls) and Royce White (Rockets) are all 25/1 to win, respectively.

They include Andre Drummond of the Pistons, Austin Rivers of the Hornets, Damian Lillard of the Blazers, Jeremy Lamb of the Rockets, Jared Sullinger of the Celtics, Maurice Harkless of the Sixers and Tyler Zeller of the Cavs. Terrence Ross of the Raptors is 35/1.

Finally, Donatas Motiejunas of the Rockets is 40/1 to win the 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year, as are Andrew Nicholson (Magic), John Jenkins (Hawks) and Meyers Leonard (Blazers).
