Suns vs. Clippers Game 6 Prediction
The Suns can close out the Clippers in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET but they had an opportunity to advance to the NBA Finals on Monday night and couldn’t close out the series. Will Phoenix accomplish the feat tonight or is there a better bet on the board?

Devin Booker got out of his shooting slump as he scored 31 points on 9-of-22 shooting (4-of-6 3-pointers) to go with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and three turnovers as the Suns dropped Monday’s Game 5 116-102, but still hold a 3-2 series lead over the Clippers. Booker had struggled ever since exploding for a 40 point triple-double in Game 1 of this series, but he got his groove back on Monday night tallying his best mark of this series from beyond the arc, knocking down four triples at a 66.7% clip. Speaking of triples, Cam Johnson was a perfect 3-of-3 from deep, as he came off the bench and tallied 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting and also added four rebounds and three steals. Johnson is now shooting 52.9% from distance this series and is averaging 1.2 steals per game despite playing just 23.6 minutes per contest. Booker and Johnson shot great from three, but unfortunately, Chris Paul did not, as the veteran point guard was 0-of-6 from three, but still tallied 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting with eight assists, three rebounds, and two turnovers. The Suns got a double-double out of Deandre Ayton who tallied a quiet 10 points and 11 rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting in 37 minutes on Monday. The Suns will attempt to close out the Clippers in Wednesday night’s Game 6 from Staples Center.

Paul George goes for a playoff career-high 41 points on 15-of-20 shooting (3-of-6 3-pointers) and added 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals as the Clippers fought off elimination with a 116-102 win over the Clippers in Tuesday’s Game 5. George had a relatively quiet first half scoring 11 points taking just eight shots. But in the second half, George came alive, scoring 30 of his 41 points in the second half, including 20 points in the third quarter. The only negative was that George did have six turnovers, which was twice as much as any other player who played on Monday evening, many of those coming on careless passes, which the Clippers will have to cut out if they hope to get back to Phoenix for a potential Game 7. One thing that the Clippers have to be feeling good about is their head coach Tyronn Lue, who is now 10-2 as a coach in games where his team has a chance to be eliminated. That is the best such record in NBA history for coaches who have coached at least 10 games. George, Lue, and the Clippers will try to stave off elimination again on Wednesday night in LA.
Clippers vs. Suns Game 6 Prediction
