Memphis re-signs Randolph
MEMPHIS, TN (TheSpread) – The Memphis Grizzlies locked up one of their top players for the next few seasons, signing Zach Randolph to an extension.
According to ESPN.com’s Marc Stein, the Grizzlies and Randolph reached an agreement on a two-year, $20 million extension on Friday. The extension will begin in the 2015-16 NBA season.
Randolph is coming off a 2013-14 NBA season that saw him average 17.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game while helping lead Memphis to the playoffs once again. Randolph is averaging 17.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game for his career.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Memphis has 50/1 odds to win next season’s NBA title. Oddsmakers currently see Miami as the favorite with 4/1 odds while San Antonio has 11/2 odds.
