Fox is a 6-3, 169-pound point guard from Kentucky that is expected to be one of the top picks tonight. ESPN ranks him as the sixth-best player overall and third-best point guard. Fox played one season with the Wildcats, averaging 29.6 minutes per game. Fox put up 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 4 rebounds per contest. He shot 47.9 percent from the field and just 24.6 percent from 3-point land.
The first two picks of the NBA Draft are largely agreed upon by most mock drafts. The 76ers are expected to take Markelle Fultz at No. 1 while the Lakers are expected to go with Lonzo Ball at No. 2. Things get a little shaky from there. As of now, the Celtics hold the third pick, the Suns pick fourth and the Kings are fifth.
Sports Illustrated has Fox going fifth to the Kings in their latest mock. CBSSports has Fox going fourth to the Suns. Bleacher Report is with SI, opting for Fox to be take fifth by the Kings, as does SBNation. No major mock draft has Fox falling past the Kings. He addressed a major need for Sacramento and not many are going to argue that Dennis Smith or Frank Ntilikina are better point guard options.
