NBA Draft Predictions

NBA Draft Predictions 6/19/19, Prop bets to consider for Thursday night

The 2019 NBA Draft is set to take place on Thursday night with a lot of intriguing players and storylines coming into the event. Here’s some NBA Draft props we feel good about for Thursday.

Bet on NBA Futures Odds

Sure Thing – Zion Williamson Under 1.5 Draft Position -10000

Granted, there’s little value in this bet, but if you want to make a couple of bucks and you have $10,000 to throw around, Zion Williamson is certain to go No. 1 to the Pelicans on Thursday night. Not since LeBron James has there been as clear of a top pick in the NBA Draft.

Will The Pelicans Trade The No. 4 Pick – No +150

Oddsmakers seem to feel the Pelicans are going to trade out of the No. 4 position, but it’s pretty clear that this franchise is going in a young direction given the trade it is making for Anthony Davis. The team is going to be really young and trading away the No. 4 pick would likely only be done for a top player or more picks. I don’t think New Orleans needs either of those things. Should the Knicks pass on R.J. Barrett at No. 3, it would seem like a slam dunk to pair him up with his Duke teammate in Zion Williamson.

Darius Garland Draft Position – Under 5.5 -600

There isn’t a hotter name in this draft class than Vanderbilt’s Darius Garland, who didn’t get a chance to showcase himself this season due to a knee injury, but there was a lot of hype about him coming into the year. Now, people seem him as a potential game changer in the NBA. Garland has been linked to a potential third selection by the Knicks and his over/under for draft position is listed at 5.5. Should he be available at 4 or 5, there’s been a lot of talk of teams trading up to get him. I don’t think he will make it to No. 6.

Romeo Langford Draft Position – Under 16.5 -120

Romeo Langford is an intriguing player, as he was one of the top freshmen coming into the 2018-19 college season, yet was considered pretty underwhelming at Indiana. Now he finds himself as a potential lottery pick. The over/under for his draft position is listed at 16.5 with both the over and under getting -120 odds. I feel very strong about the under here. The Detroit Pistons are selecting at No. 15 and seem to be pretty smitten with the Hoosier. Most “best available” boards have Langford within the top 15 as well. I think he won’t get past Detroit on Thursday.
