Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
Kyrie Irving scored 22 points on 9-of-22 shooting in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Bucks, adding five rebounds, one assist, two triples and three steals over 45 minutes. Both Kyrie and Kevin Durant struggled offensively throughout the game, with the superstar duo combining to go 20-of-50 from the floor, and while Irving didn’t commit any turnovers — KD coughed up the rock four times. Despite the Brooklyn stars struggling, the Nets only lost this one by three points, and Durant nearly sent the game to overtime with a shot at the buzzer that just happened to rim out. Durant finished with 30 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three triples, four steals and one block in the loss.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo put up a double-double with 18 points on 8-of-15 shooting to go with 11 rebounds, four assists, one block and three turnovers as the Bucks were blown out 125-86 by the Nets on Monday night. The Bucks again out-rebounded the Nets and had more points in the paint, but again, neither mattered as Milwaukee was blown out of the gym on Monday. The Bucks shot 8-of-27 from three, while Brooklyn shot 21-42. Through two games, Milwaukee is now 14-of-57 from three, good for just 24.5 percent. Khris Middleton again struggled shooting the ball going 7-of-20 from the floor for 17 points while Brook Lopez went 4-of-10 for 10 points to go with six rebounds and two assists. Jrue Holiday chipped in 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting with four rebounds and three assists in Monday’s loss. They will attempt to avoid falling in a 3-0 hole on Thursday night from Milwaukee.
