Denver Nuggets DFS Notes
Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets has been named the Most Valuable Player of the 2020-2021 NBA Season, per Shams Charania on Twitter. While guys like Joel Embiid and Stephen Curry could have taken home the award, we saw this one coming from a mile away from a guy that had one of the most consistent and dominant seasons that we've seen from a center in a long time. Jokic finished the season behind averages of 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 1.3 triples, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks on 56.6% from the floor, all while not missing a single game in this crazy and condensed 72-game season. The former 41st pick in the 2014 draft is the lowest drafted player to ever win it, and the first in Nuggets history as well. Jokic is incredibly deserving of the award, and anyone who likes basketball in the slightest has to admire his unique and elite set of skills. His next stop will be to try and bring his No. 3 seeded Nuggets team out of a 1-0 series deficit in favor of the Suns, and continue to make a playoff run in his dreamy season.
Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Deandre Ayton tallied 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting with 10 rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 36 minutes as the Suns defeated the Nuggets 122-105 in Monday's Game 1. In the three games that Denver and Phoenix played during the regular season, Nikola Jokic averaged 25.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists and Denver won two of the three meetings. Ayton's ability to play Jokic to a stalemate on Monday was perhaps the main reason why Phoenix was able to take Game 1, and they will ask him to do the same on Wednesday as Phonix will attempt to go up 2-0. Phoenix will also hope for a more explosive performance from Devin Booker who had a modest line of 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting (1-of-4 3-pointers) with eight assists, four rebounds, one steal, and five turnovers in 38 minutes. It wasn't a bad performance by Booker, with the exception of the five turnovers, but after you average 29.7 points per game on the defending champions, including a 47-point performance in the clincher, much more will be expected of you.
Nuggets vs. Suns Playoffs Prediction

On the other side, the over is 16-5-1 in the Suns’ last 22 games playing on one day of rest, is 23-10-1 in their last 34 games overall and is 36-16-1 in their last 51 games coming off a win.
