Trae Young hit 9-of-21 shots and four 3-pointers for 27 points, one rebound, nine assists and one steal in Atlanta’s 113-96 win over the Knicks on Sunday to give the Hawks a 3-1 lead in their first-round series. John Collins came through with 22 points, Danilo Gallinari came through with 21 and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 12 points, eight boards, six assists and two steals in the win. The Knicks got chippy near the end and the Hawks have taken complete control of the series. Game 5 is in New York on Wednesday night, when the Hawks will look to close out the series. If not, Game 6 is back in Atlanta on Friday night. The winner of this series will likely face the Sixers, who will look to sweep the Wizards on Monday.
New York Knicks DFS Notes
Julius Randle acknowledged that he needs to play much better in order for the Knicks to win Game 5 Wednesday night and keep their season alive. After a breakout regular season, Randle has come crashing back down to earth in the playoffs, averaging 16.8 points while shooting just 27.4% from the floor and 33.3% from downtown. “I have to be a lot better. I need to continue to be a lot better,” Randle said. “This is all a learning experience. I need to get better individually, we need to get better as a team.” Still, he told reporters he remains confident. “I like our chances,” Randle said about winning the series. “To answer your question, I love our chances.’’
