New York Knicks DFS Notes
Julius Randle got off to a slow start again on Wednesday and hit just 5-of-16 shots, but had 15 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in a 101-92 comeback win by the Knicks over the Hawks. Randle didn’t exactly leave his Most Improved Player thumbprint all over this game and has yet to really show up for this series, but he also wasn’t alone with the poor shooting. RJ Barrett hit just 5-of-14 shots, Alec Burks went 4-of-13 and Immanuel Quickley was 2-of-9 while watching Derrick Rose take over for the Knicks tonight. The Hawks also had their issues as Bogdan Bogdanovic hit 8-of-21 shots and 2-of-13 3-pointers, Danilo Gallinari hit 2-of-10 shots and 2-of-9 3-pointers and De’Andre Hunter hit just 3-of-10 shots. This series has come as advertised and Games 3 and 4 in Atlanta on Friday and Sunday are shaping up to be fantastic matchups.
Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes
The Knicks announced Thursday that they have banned a fan for spitting on Trae Young during Wednesday’s game. Following the Knicks’ win over the Hawks in Game 2 Wednesday night, video surfaced of a fan spitting on Young while he was waiting to inbound a pass during the second half. On Thursday, the Knicks announced that the fan in question had been identified and was banned “indefinitely” from Madison Square Garden. This is a bit different from the 76ers’ announcement after a fan poured popcorn in Russell Westbrook, as they have banned that individual for life.
Knicks vs. Hawks Game 3 Playoffs Prediction
The Knicks are 18-7-1 against the spread in their last 26 games in Atlanta and are 15-5-1 at the betting window in their last 21 games versus the Hawks overall. On the other side, the Hawks are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
