Heat vs. Celtics Game 6 Prediction
The Heat have been a profitable play for bettors in previous meetings at TD Garden, which is where Miami will take on the Celtics in Game 6 of the Conference Finals at 8:30 p.m. ET. Even if they don’t stave off elimination tonight, will the Heat at least put up a good fight?
505 Miami Heat (+8.5) at 506 Boston Celtics (-8.5); o/u 201
8:30 p.m. ET, Friday, May 27, 2022
Venue: TD Garden, Boston, MA
Miami Heat DFS Notes
Kyle Lowry (left hamstring strain) and Max Strus (right hamstring strain) are listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Celtics. Lowry and Strus are back on the injury report despite starting Wednesday's Game 5 defeat, and it's worth asking if either is at full strength. While the former has looked like a shell of himself, lacking the explosiveness needed to beat Celtics guards off the dribble, the latter has struggled mightily with his perimeter shot. Lowry and Strus should be able to play, but Erik Spoelstra may not be able to stick with either for too long if their struggles continue, as the Heat are facing elimination.
Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Marcus Smart (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Heat. After sitting out of Game 4, Smart was able to start Wednesday's Game 5 win, playing 24 minutes. If the Celtics' starting point guard is unable to play on Friday, that would thrust Derrick White to the forefront. He got off to a hot start filling in for Smart in Game 4 and was solid coming off the bench in Game 5.
