Bucks end win streak
Milwaukee had its 6-game win streak come to an end in Game 3 of the series, losing 118-112 at Toronto in double OT. The Bucks are now 10-2 overall and against the spread in the postseason. Milwaukee is 70-24 on the season, 31-15 on the road, 57-33-4 against the spread and 49-45 with the over.
The Bucks hit their offensive wall in Game 3 of the series, going just 38 of 102 from the floor and 14 of 44 from the arc. They also were 22 of 33 from the charity stripe. Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled with the defense from Kawhi Leonard, being held to just 12 points on 5 of 16 shooting. However, he had 23 rebounds, seven assists and four blocks. George Hill actually led the team with 24 points and seven rebounds off the bench while Malcolm Brogdon had 20 points.
Raptors get on the board
Toronto put an end to a four-game failed cover streak on Sunday with the 6-point win in Game 3 to make the series 2-1 in favor of Milwaukee. Toronto is now 67-30 on the season, 38-11 at home, 45-52 against the spread and 49-45-3 with the over.
The Raptors managed to pick up the win on Sunday in double OT despite not a lot of help for Kawhi Leonard. Leonard finished with 36 points, nine rebounds and five assists despite dealing with a minor leg injury. Pascal Siakam did play well, putting up 25 points and 11 rebounds while Norman Powell had 19 points with four rebounds and three assists.
NBA Betting Trends
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 8-0 against the spread in their last 8 Tuesday games and 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games following a loss.
Toronto
The Raptors are 2-7 ATS in their last nine against Central Division opponents, but 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Prediction:
The Raptors gave their all to win Game 3, but it came with a cost. Leonard suffered a minor injury that could still be a factor tonight. After playing two overtimes on Sunday, both teams should feel it in the legs tonight. That should hurt Toronto more, as Milwaukee has more capable scorers than the Raptors. I think Milwaukee’s depth will continue to be the story in this series and I expect Giannis to bounce back in a big way to help lead the Bucks to another win.
NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -3
