Warriors go up 3-0

The Warriors took a commanding lead in the series with a 110-99 win at Portland in Game 3 on Saturday. The Warriors are 68-29 on the season, 32-16 on the road, 42-54-1 against the spread and 50-46-1 with the under.

It was the third quarter again that allowed the Warriors to take control of Game 3, as they outscored Portland, 29-13. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 36 points and six rebounds while knocking down six 3-pointers. Draymond Green had an impressive triple-double of 20 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists and four steals. Klay Thompson added 19 points, five assists and five rebounds.

Blazers fall again

Portland has lost three straight in the series to be put on the brink of elimination. They are 1-2 against the spread in the series thus far. Portland is 61-36 on the season, 37-11 at home, 52-44-1 against the spread and 51-44-2 with the over.

The Blazers were held to just 33 points in the second half of Game 3. Portland shot 34 of 85 from the field and 11 of 35 from the arc. They struggled at the line, going 20 of 33. NBA Betting Trends

Golden State

The Warriors are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight against Northwest opponents and 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 Monday games.

Portland

The Blazers are just 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on 1 day of rest.

Prediction:

It’s entirely possible that the Warriors could take their foot off the gas tonight and get beaten soundly. They have a 3-0 lead and know this series is theirs for the taking. However, Golden State has been amazing since losing Durant. They have really known how to put the fatal blow to their opponents and I think they will continue to play with that edge tonight. Curry and Green have been off the charts, especially in the second halves of this series. The Blazers just look overwhelmed and lacking in confidence.

NBA Prediction: Golden State Warriors -3.5
