Miami Heat DFS Notes
Jimmy Butler scored 33 points on 12-of-22 shooting (8-of-10 free throws) to go with nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one triple as the Heat lost Game 3 to the Sixers 99-79 on Friday night. Butler was the only Heat player to show up for Friday’s game, and he single-handedly kept them in the game as Philly looked like they were going to pull away on multiple different occasions. He was the only Heat starter in double figures on Friday, and Tyler Herro was the only other Miami player to reach double figures at all, scoring 14 points on 5-of-15 shooting (2-of-7 3-pointers) with four rebounds and one assist. The Heat will attempt to bounce back in Sunday’s Game 4 in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid (facial fracture, right thumb sprain) is questionable for Game 4 against the Heat on Sunday. Embiid played through his multiple injuries Friday to lead the 76ers to a much-needed victory in Game 3, so we’d bet on him taking the court again Sunday for a crucial Game 4. Expect Embiid to be a regular on the injury report for the remainder of the postseason due to the severity of his injuries.
