(TheSpread) – One of the featured second round NBA Playoff series has the Oklahoma City Thunder meeting the Los Angeles Clippers, which begins tonight.

The Thunder come into the series as the second seed in the Western Conference, while the Clippers are the No. 3 seed. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Thunder are the slight favorite to win the series, as they have odds of -185 to win, while the Clippers have a money line of +160 to prevail.

Oklahoma City went 59-23 this season, winning the Northwest Division. The Thunder had a 34-7 record at home, a 25-16 mark on the road and a 36-16 conference record. The 34 wins at home tied for the most of any team in the West. Oklahoma City averaged 106.2 points per game on offense while allowing just 99.8 points per contest. Oklahoma City reached the second round of the playoffs by beating the Memphis Grizzlies in seven games, despite falling behind 3-2 in the series.

The Clippers were 57-25 this season, winning the Pacific Division. Los Angeles had a 34-7 home record, a 23-18 record on the road and a 36-16 record against conference opponents. The 34 home wins tied for the most in the West. Los Angeles averaged an NBA-best 107.9 points per game while allowing 101 points per contest. The Clippers dealt with the Donald Sterling saga during the first round of the playoffs, but still beat the Golden State Warriors in seven games.

These two teams met four times during the regular season, with each team winning two games. Both teams picked up a win at home and on the road and the winning team covered the spread in all four games. When going back into further history, Oklahoma City has won and covered in five of its last seven against the Clippers and the two have hit the over in seven of their last 10 meetings.
