Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo shot 9-of-25 from the field and 6-of-11 from the foul line in Sunday’s 101-89 win over the Celtics, accumulating 24 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists, and two blocked shots in 38 minutes. Antetokounmpo didn’t shoot the ball particularly well in Game 1, but he did manage to record his second career playoff triple-double. His best play occurred during the fourth quarter when he threw down a dunk after tossing the ball off of the backboard to himself. Antetokounmpo will need to finish better around the basket as this series progresses, but that should not be a major issue for him. He shot 55.3% from the field this season, and 53.4% in three games against the Celtics. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Boston.
Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Marcus Smart (quad contusion) is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s Game 2 against the Bucks, the team announced. Celtics head coach Ime Udoka said that Smart is feeling quite a bit of soreness on Monday. “He’s a tough guy that’s going to try to play through things,” Udoka said. “We’ll get him some treatment today and see how he feels tomorrow, but he’ll be listed as questionable.” Smart is also dealing with a shoulder injury but as Udoka said, he is a tough guy so he will likely give it a go. If he can’t this would open up a ton of minutes for Derrick White as the Celtics try to even the series in Boston on Tuesday.
