Pelicans vs. Warriors Prediction
The return of Steph Curry to the Golden State Warriors lineup tonight has the hosts listed as a double-digit favorite against the New Orleans Pelicans. Is a bet on Golden State smart tonight as it looks to take a 2-0 series lead?

Curry to make anticipated return
Warriors star point guard Steph Curry has been out since March with a knee injury and missed the first round series against the Spurs. He was questionable for Game 1, but ultimately sat out as Golden State rolled to a 123-101 victory. Curry had participated in scrimmages prior to Game 1, but the Warriors staff opted to see him in one more scrimmage before giving Curry the green light to return to action tonight. Curry averaged 26.4 points, 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 52 regular season games. He upped his scoring (28.7) and assists (8.3) while pulling down four rebounds per in three meetings with the Pelicans this season.
Green records triple-double in win
Golden State power forward Draymond Green tallied 16 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists in the first game of the series as he shot 5-of-9 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. He also had three steals and two blocked shots. Klay Thompson scored a game-best 27 points and pulled down six rebounds, while Kevin Durant contributed 26 points and 15 boards. The Big Three will become the Big Four again tonight as the Warriors become full again, whch is a scary proposition for any opponent.
NBA Betting Trends
New Orleans
The over is 4-0 in the last four Pelicans games after allowing 100 or more points in their previous game. New Orleans is 2-5 ATS in its last seven meetings in Golden State.
Golden State
The over is 5-1-1 in the last seven Warriors home games. The over is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
Prediction:
Even with Curry back, I think there is good potential for the Pelicans to cover this spread. But instead, I am looking at the over. These two teams get into shootouts regularly and now one more prolific scorer is being added to the mix and Curry isn’t known as a good defender. Enjoy all the points tonight. Take the over.
