Sunday’s NBA DFS Predictions
The NBA Playoffs for Sunday feature a pair of games, including a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference. Here’s our suggested NBA Daily Fantasy plays for today’s action.
Point Guard – Rockets’ Chris Paul (vs. Utah, 3:30PM ET) $7,800
I think Paul can have a really big game for Houston to open this series. Ricky Rubio is out for the Jazz and that should allow Paul to have a real matchup advantage today. He should get increased scoring chances and continue to rack up the assists and steals otherwise.
Shooting Guard – Cavs’ Kyle Korver (vs. Indiana, 1PM ET) $4,300
Korver didn’t do much of anything in Game 6 and the Cavs lost. He has stepped up in the wins in this series and I think he will be a bigger part of the Cleveland game plan this afternoon. His 3-point shooting is really key for the Cavs. He will have to step up and help LeBron.
Small Forward – Jazz’ Royce O’Neale (at Houston, 3:30PM ET) $3,600
With Rubio out for the Jazz, O’Neale looks like he could be the one to benefit the most. While he isn’t a point guard, the lineup shuffles and he should get extended minutes at small forward. When Rubio was out in February, O’Neale averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds per game. He should put up a nice number for a very cheap price today.
Power Forward – Cavs’ LeBron James (vs. Indiana, 1PM ET) $12,100
It’s a Game 7 and it’s LeBron James. It’s pretty simple. James is coming off a really poor Game 6 performance and he should definitely step up with everything at stake this afternoon in Cleveland. James hasn’t exited the playoffs this early and he certainly isn’t going to go down without a fight.
Center – Jazz’ Rudy Gobert (at Houston, 3:30PM ET) $7,200
The Jazz are going to need Gobert to really establish himself in the paint in this series. Utah isn’t going to have the fire-power to get into a shootout with Houston, so it will have to be strong on the glass and work their scoring inside against a smaller Rockets’ squad. I think Gobert can really have a big series, starting with Game 1 this afternoon.
