Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
James Harden hit 4-of-11 shots, two 3-pointers and 5-of-6 free throws for 15 points, two rebounds, seven assists, a steal, a block and five turnovers in 40 minutes of Monday’s Game 5 blowout loss at home against the Raptors. The Sixers lead the series 3-2 now but the Raptors will be hoping to tie it up at 3-3 on Thursday night in Toronto, which would force a Saturday Game 7 in Philly. Harden has hit just 25-of-67 shots in this series, good for just 37 percent and has scored a high of 22 points. This is not the Harden we’ve grown accustomed to seeing and the Sixers have suddenly lost two straight games. Thursday is going to be a war and if the Raptors pull that one out, Saturday’s Game 7 could be epic.
Toronto Raptors DFS Notes
Fred VanVleet (left hip flexor strain) is listed as doubtful for Thursday’s Game 6 against the Sixers. This isn’t too surprising given VanVleet’s non-committal response to his status for Games 5 and 6 on Monday. The Raptors won game 5 without him, as Scottie Barnes slid into the starting lineup and Toronto went with a jumbo lineup to lock up the Sixers and force a Game 6 back at home. If they can extend the series to a game 7, VanVleet could be available for that one, but even that is far from a guarantee. We will have more information as it comes, so be sure to check back with us.
