Denver Nuggets DFS Notes

Nikola Jokic played 38 minutes in Sunday's 126-121 win over the Warriors, accounting for 37 points (14-of-21 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, and three 3-pointers. No team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series, so the Nuggets still face long odds. That being said, they managed to avoid getting swept on their home court, and the reigning MVP was the biggest reason why. While Jokic did rack up seven turnovers on the day, he was nearly unstoppable otherwise. And he produced the game's most important assist, finding Will Barton in the corner for what proved to be the game-sealing 3-pointer with 8.3 seconds remaining. Jokic played so well down the stretch that the Warriors went to a box-and-1, with Kevon Looney being given the task of defending him (Draymond Green had already fouled out). Denver will need another performance of this caliber from Jokic in Game 5 Wednesday night, and he's more than capable of rising to the challenge.

Golden State Warriors DFS Notes

Stephen Curry shot 7-of-12 from the field and 7-of-9 from the foul line in the second half of Sunday's 126-121 loss to the Nuggets, finishing with 33 points, three rebounds, eight assists, four steals, one blocked shot, and three 3-pointers in 37 min. Curry once again came off the bench in Game 4, but if his minutes total is any indication, we can expect to see him back with the starters for Game 5 Wednesday night. Checking into the game just under four minutes into the first quarter, Curry got off to a slow start, ultimately shooting just 3-of-11 from the field. How off the mark was he? Curry was just 3-of-5 at the foul line, and the four misses that he finished the game with were a career-high. Don't worry about Curry having a similar night from the charity stripe anytime soon, and getting into a rhythm should be easier once he returns to the starting lineup. That would likely mean a return to the bench for Jordan Poole, who was held in check on Sunday and finished with 11 points (3-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes.
