Friday’s NBA Daily Fantasy Picks
Tonight’s NBA Playoffs schedule features three Game 6’s. Here’s a look at our suggested NBA Daily Fantasy plays for the night.
Point Guard – Thunder’s Russell Westbrook (at Utah, 10:30PM ET) $11,200
Westbrook put the Thunder on his back in the second half of Game 5 and led them to a victory, finishing with 75.75 fantasy points. Tonight, he has to do it again to force a Game 7. Westbrook is a prideful guy and is going to put it on himself to get the win tonight. That may not actually lead to a win, but it should lead to a huge stat line.
Shooting Guard – Cavs’ Kyle Korver (at Indiana, 8PM ET) $4,600
The real key in this series for Cleveland has been Korver. He has scored in double figures in all three wins, including 19 points in Game 5 behind 5 3-pointers. I think he will continue to be a factor tonight for Cleveland as they try to finish out the series.
Small Forward – Pacers’ Thaddeus Young (vs. Cleveland, 8PM ET) $5,600
Young only had 24 fantasy points in Game 5, but he had a combined 75.25 fantasy points in the two games at Indiana in this series. With the series returning back to the home of the Pacers, I think Young steps up and out-performs his value in a big way. Look for a double-double from Young.
Power Forward – Jazz’ Derrick Favors (vs. Oklahoma City, 10:30PM ET) $5,700
Jae Crowder exploded for Utah in Game 5, which led to Favors having a low-key night. However, Crowder’s big game didn’t lead to a win and Favors has been the more consistent play throughout the season. He played 33 minutes in Games 3 and 4 and scored in double figures both times. I think he bounces back tonight.
Center – Wizards’ Martin Gortat (vs. Toronto, 7PM ET) $4,700
Gortat is playing surprisingly well in this series after a very lackluster end to the regular season. He has seen an increase in minutes over the last three games, including 34 minutes in Game 5 while posting a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds. Washington seems to have found a matchup they like with Gortat, so I think he is a great value play tonight.
