Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Chris Paul scored 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting (1-of-6 3-pointers) and dished out 14 assists with four rebounds, and one steal as the Suns beat the Pelicans in Game 3 on Friday. With Devin Booker (hamstring) out, many people assumed that would mean a lot more shots for Chris Paul. He shot a couple more shots, but nothing major compared to the 16 that he took in the first two games. The Point God was masterful running the show on offense though, and he made sure to spread the wealth around but also made some huge shots late. He also tallied his third straight double-double, and he now has turned it over just two total times in three games this postseason. We expect the big nights and the double-doubles to continue as long as Booker is out of the lineup.
New Orleans Pelicans DFS Notes
C.J. McCollum scored 30 points to go with seven assists, four rebounds, four triples, two steals, and one block but the Pelicans lost to the Suns 114-111 at home on Friday night. McCollum wasn’t super efficient to start this one, but he was able to make the stat line look prettier as the game went on. He shot 11-of-23 from the floor and just 4-of-11 from deep, and he even struggled from the foul line going 4-of-8. He shot 36.0% and 38.9% from the floor in games 1 and 2, so he is yet to have an efficient floor game in this series. We will see if he can change that on Sunday night for Game 4 in New Orleans.
