Denver Nuggets DFS Notes
Nikola Jokic poured in 47 points in a double-overtime win vs. Memphis on Monday, while also hauling in 15 rebounds and handing out eight assists in 45 minutes. Memphis had no answer for Jokic in high screen action, and he rained down 20-of-31 field goals with a pair of 3-pointers and a 5-of-6 mark from the line. He blocked a shot for good measure and also hit the go-ahead 3-pointer in double-OT, after which Denver never let up. He was No. 2 in the league in touches per game prior to Jamal Murray’s knee injury, and now the ball is running through him even more. He’s running away with the MVP award in fantasy and reality.
Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Draymond Green recorded eight points, four rebounds, eight assists, three steals and two turnovers before fouling out of Wednesday’s game. Green helped the Warriors overcome a 19-point deficit, but he fouled out of the game with nearly three minutes to go, and his defense was sorely missed as the Dubs coughed up the lead in the fourth quarter. The Dubs’ didn’t get the win, but this was still a pretty solid stat line from Draymond over 32 minutes.
