Miami Heat DFS Notes
Bam Adebayo (left quad contusion) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Hawks. Adebayo is once again on the injury report due to a quad contusion, which he played through in Tuesday’s Game 2 victory. DFS players should expect to see the All-Star center on the court for Friday’s game but bear in mind that Adebayo’s production was a bit down in the first two games of the series. Of course, it didn’t help that he was in quarantine for five days before rejoining his teammates the day before the series opener. If Adebayo is unable to play, Dewayne Dedmon would move into the starting lineup.
Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes
Trae Young recorded a line of 25 points (10-of-20 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, and two 3-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Heat, playing 41 minutes. Tuesday’s 10-point defeat was a case of “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” as far as Young was concerned. The good: he shot the ball far better than he did in Sunday’s series-opener, with his first-quarter point total (eight) matching his production in Game 1. The bad: Young shot 2-of-10 from beyond the arc, and he is now 2-of-17 on those shots in the first two games. The ugly: he racked up 10 turnovers, the worst number of his postseason career to date. Miami being able to switch everything has impacted Young in a big way, as he has more turnovers (16) than made field goals (11) through the first two games. He’ll look to turn things around when the Hawks host Game 3 Friday night.
