Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin
Kawhi Leonard (foot) fell just two assists shy of notching a triple-double in his return to action on Sunday, tallying 15 points, 11 rebounds, eight dimes, two triples, one block and three turnovers across 23 minutes in an easy win over the Timberwolves. Leonard looked great while he was out there, and even threw down a big alley-oop jam, so it’s probably safe to say that he’s moved on from the foot issue. The Clippers crushed the Timberwolves from the perimeter tonight, going 21-of-42 from distance, which marked just the seventh time in franchise history (third time this season) that L.A. has bombed away at least 20 triples. Due to the blowout, Paul George had his 30-point streak come to an end tonight, as he finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four triples, two steals, one block and three turnovers across 27 minutes.
Portland Trail Blazers DFS Spin
Damian Lillard (hamstring) and Jusuf Nurkic (rest) have been ruled out for Tuesday’s game vs. the Clippers. This will be the third straight game on the sidelines for Lillard, and it’s unclear at the moment exactly how much longer he’ll be out. With both Lillard and Nurkic watching from the sidelines tomorrow night, we’ll see C.J. McCollum and Norman Powell doing the heavy lifting on offense while Enes Kanter could be headed for a spot-start. Derrick Jones Jr. and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson have both received spot-start sans Dame, but neither guy has had an impact as a starter.
