Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes
Trae Young was completely locked up during Game 1 on Sunday, finishing with eight points (1-for-12 FGs, 0-for-7 from deep), six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and six turnovers in 28 minutes during the 115-91 loss. Playing less than 40 hours after his spectacular second half against the Cavs, it wasn’t just the fatigue that caused Trae to struggle so much. The ability of the Heat’s defense to switch caused a lot of problems for Trae, and he’ll have to figure things out quickly if the Hawks want to compete in this series. This was his worst game of the season, so he likely won’t continue to be this bad, but the Hawks will have to make some changes for him to play significantly better.
Miami Heat DFS Notes
Bam Adebayo (left quad contusion) and P.J. Tucker (calf) are being listed as questionable for Tuesday’s Game 2 matchup with the Hawks. These two must have gotten a little banged up during Game 1 on Sunday, but we’ve be surprised to see either one hit the sidelines tomorrow night. We might get another update following Tuesday’s shootaround, but Erik Spoelstra may wait to reveal their status’s until we’re closer to tip-off, which would essentially render them game-time calls. Stay tuned.
