Jazz vs. Mavericks Game 2 Prediction
The Jazz didn’t have much issue getting past the Luka Doncic-less Mavericks on Saturday in Game 1 of the teams’ Western Conference First Round matchup. Will it be more of the same in Game 2 on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. ET?

Utah Jazz DFS Notes
Donovan Mitchell finished Saturday’s 99-93 Game 1 win over the Mavericks with 32 points (10-of-29 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), also adding six rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, two triples and three turnovers in 42 minutes. Spida had a miserable first half in which he scored just two points on 1-of-9 shooting, and he didn’t even get his first bucket until around the five-minute mark in the second quarter. However, he completely flipped the script in the third quarter as he scored 19 points in that frame alone to help get the Jazz a lead, which was ultimately enough to get them the first victory of the series. Mitchell has been a beast in the postseason with 32.3 and 36.3 points per game in his last two playoff appearances, respectively, so we could see him truly erupt as soon as Game 2 on Monday. Mike Conley hit some key buckets and tallied a 13/6/3 line with a steal and a triple, while Jordan Clarkson scored 10 points with almost nothing else in 20 minutes off the bench.
Dallas Mavericks DFS Notes
Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Sunday that Luka Doncic (left calf strain) is “unlikely” to play in Game 2 against the Jazz on Monday. If Luka doesn’t play again, Spencer Dinwiddie should get another start in his place. Dinwiddie was solid with 20 points and eight assists, but it’s hard to come anywhere close to replacing what Luka brings to the game. Hopefully, we’ll get better news for Game 3, or this series could be wrapped up quickly.
Jazz vs. Mavericks Game 2 NBA Playoffs Betting Prediction
The Jazz are still just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games against the Mavericks and 4-10-1 against the number in their last 15 games in Dallas despite covering in Game 1 of this series. Utah has also dropped seven of its last eight games at the betting window when playing on one day of rest and is 3-9 against the spread in its last 12 games as a road favorite. The Mavericks, meanwhile, are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games overall, are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and have covered in four of their last five games as a home dog.
