2018 NBA Western Conference Series Odds 4/13/18 Who do oddsmakers favor?

The NBA Western Conference features four very intriguing series matchups. Here’s a look at what the oddsmakers think of the four series set to take place.

815 Minnesota Timberwolves vs. 816 Houston Rockets

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Rockets are the heavy favorite in this series, as they are getting odds of -3000 to win. The Timberwolves are getting a money line of +1500 to prevail. Houston is the top seed in the West and has the home-court advantage for this series and the entire NBA Playoffs. These two met four times during the season and Houston won and covered the spread in all four games as a favorite. All four wins were by at least eight points and two were by 18 points.

801 San Antonio Spurs vs. 802 Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are the second seed in the West and face the seventh-seeded Spurs. Golden State is the clear favorite in this series, as the Warriors are getting odds of -1050 to prevail. The Spurs are listed with a money line of +750 to win. The Spurs got swept by Golden State in last year’s playoffs and the Warriors won three of four meetings this season with San Antonio. Both teams have injuries coming into the series, with Kawhi Leonard out indefinitely with his quad injury and Stephen Curry out with his knee injury.

807 New Orleans Pelicans vs. 808 Portland Trail Blazers

According to oddsmakers, the third-seeded Blazers are favored in this series. Portland is getting odds of -210 to prevail, while the sixth-seeded Pelicans are getting a money line of +180 to win. These two have met four times during the season and each team has won twice, once at home and once on the road. Each game was decided by 10 points or less with the Blazers having a +3 advantage in total scoring between the two.

813 Utah Jazz vs. 814 Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder come into this series as the fourth seed while the Jazz are the fifth seed. Oddsmakers have the Thunder as the slight favorite, as they are getting odds of -135 to win, while the Jazz are listed with a money line of +115 to prevail. These two have met four times during the season and Oklahoma City has won three of the four meetings, including both games as home. These two haven’t placed since December 23, however, so it will be interesting to see how their development changes the matchup.
