Bulls vs. Pelicans Prediction
Now officially eliminated from postseason contention, the Bulls will look to win their final road game of the season when they visit the Pelicans at 8:00PM ET tonight.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Pelicans are now 4.5-point home underdogs versus the visiting Bulls while the total currently sits at 205.5 points at the betting window. New Orleans had opened as a 4-point dog before the line was bet up a half-point.
Chicago enters play tonight against New Orleans having dropped six of its last 10 games and is just 5-5 against the spread during that stretch. The Pelicans, meanwhile, are 4-6 straight up over their last 10 contests but they covered in seven of those games.
The Bulls have failed to cover in four of their last five games versus the Pelicans and are just 7-17 against the number in their last 24 games playing on one day of rest. They're also just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games following a straight up win and are 1-4 ATS in their last five games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
As previously noted, the Pelicans have been solid at the betting window, even without Anthony Davis in the lineup. They're 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games and are a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a non-cover. They're 4-0 against the spread in their last four games following a straight up loss as well.
