Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Draymond Green recorded a line of 12 points (6-of-10 FGs), 13 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in Saturday’s 100-94 win over the Spurs, playing 32 minutes. Green recorded his fourth double-double of the season Saturday night, and it was also his first since returning from the back injury that sidelined him for more than two months. The veteran forward has scored in double figures in three of his last four, and he’s also on a run of three straight games with a full stat line. Having Green at full strength is critical for the Warriors, especially with Stephen Curry (foot) still sidelined. Also stepping up on Saturday was rookie Jonathan Kuminga, who tallied 18 points (6-of-8 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes off the bench. With the Warriors needing a win over New Orleans to lock up the 3-seed in the West, Kuminga and Green should be in the rotation Sunday night.
New Orleans Pelicans DFS Notes
C.J. McCollum scored 23 points on 9-of-19 (5-of-10 3-pointers) and dished out seven assists to go with four rebounds, and three steals as the Pelicans beat the Blazers 127-94 on Thursday night. McCollum has now tallied 11 steals in his last four games, including seven in his last two. This has been a pleasant boost, so if you have him and you are playing for a championship, that could be something that puts you over the edge this week. The Pelicans have two more games against Memphis and Golden State to finish the season, so we will see if he can keep up the production on the defensive end.
