Warriors vs. Grizzlies Prediction
In what should be a high-scoring game tonight in Memphis, the Grizzlies will host the high-powered Warriors at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Grizzlies are 12.5-point home underdogs versus the Warriors, while the over/under is sitting at 210 points. Golden State is 8-2 over its last 10 games but has failed to cover in six of 10, while Memphis is just 3-7 in its last 10 contests and 5-5 at the betting window during that span.
Memphis remains one of the most banged-up teams in the NBA. Brandon Wright is out for the season with a knee injury, Mike Conley is out for the year with an Achilles injury, Jordan Adams is out indefinitely with a knee injury, and Marc Gasol has been done for the year since mid-February with a foot injury.
The Warriors, meanwhile, are closing in on the NBA record for most wins in a single season but coach Steve Kerr hinted that he will let his players decided if they need rest during the final three games of the season. "We're going to talk about it Friday," Kerr said. "We've sort of been putting it off for as long as we were able to. Now that we have [the No. 1 seed], I'm inclined to give some guys a rest, if they need it."
The over is 4-1 in the Warriors' last five games versus Western Conference opponents and is 23-9 in their last 32 games following an ATS win. The over is also 12-3-1 in the Grizzlies' last 16 games following an ATS loss and 20-7-2 in their last 29 home games.
