Spurs vs. Nuggets Prediction
One night after losing 112-101 to the Warriors in Oakland, the Spurs will look to bounce back in Denver when they visit the Nuggets at 9:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Nuggets are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Spurs while the over/under is sitting at 198, which is up from the opening number of 196.5.
Sure, we know that the Spurs will rest a lot of players but this is a very deep team. That means they have to rely on David West, Kyle Anderson, Patty Mills, Kevin Martin, Matt Bonner and Andre Miller. That wouldn't work against a normal squad, but the Nuggets are horrendous, especially on the defensive end.
The Spurs are 17-4 against the spread in their last 21 games coming off a loss and are 29-14 at the betting window in their last 43 games versus an opponent with a losing record. San Antonio has also been dominant in this series, going 20-6 against the number in its last 26 games in Denver and covering in six of its last eight games overall versus the Nuggets.
Speaking of the Nuggets, they’ve lost five of their last six games at the betting window and are 0-4 against the spread in their last four home games. They’re also just 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games playing on two days of rest.
