Pistons vs. Magic Prediction
One night after getting embarrassed in Miami, the Pistons will look to rebound with a small upset of the Magic tonight at 7:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Magic are 2-point home favorites over the Pistons for tonight's game while the over/under is sitting at 208.5 points. While Detroit has won seven of its last 10 games and is 6-4 against the spread during that span, Orlando is 4-6 over its last 10 contests and is also 6-4 at the betting window.
Detroit had a rough night shooting against Miami on Tuesday. Marcus Morris missed all seven of his shots and finished with one point, two steals and six turnovers in the loss, while Kentavious Caldwell hit just 1-of-6 shots for two points in 25 minutes. Tobias Harris, Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond tried to carry the team to no avail.
That said, the Pistons are 8-1 against the spread in their last nine games playing on back-to-back nights and are 4-1-1 at the betting window in their last six games following a loss. They're 5-1-1 against the number in their last seven games when their opponent allows 100 points or more in its previous game as well.
The Pistons have been a great bet in this series, too. They're 5-0 against the spread in their last five games versus the Magic and should bounce back nicely from their ugly loss to the Heat last night.
